西湖位於：浙江省杭州市的西部。西湖水面面積爲4.37平方公里，湖岸周長15公里，水平均深2.27米，最深處在5米左右。
首先，我們來到的是柳浪聞鶯，柳浪聞鶯是南山風景線上離市區最近的一個公園，也是西湖舊十景之一。柳樹是公園主景。請看兩旁，這裏彙集了500株春柳，這些垂柳，以景遇意，兩旁的柳樹，各種各樣，非常好看，公園南面杆彎枝斜的那種，在微風吹拂下，左搖右擺的，就像是貴妃醉酒，稱爲“醉柳”

俗話說：上有天堂，下有蘇杭。西湖就是人間天堂。現在我們已經來到西湖，這裏山水風景如化，景色怡人。春，夏，秋，冬景色不一，其中夏天的景色最讓人心曠神怡。夏天西湖裏的荷花讓人眼花繚亂，目不暇接。遊客們你們快瞧，三潭映月，湖心亭和阮公墩中的3個人工小島，鼎立在湖心，是遊覽勝地。所以唐朝詩人在《飲湖初晴後雨中》寫到：欲把西湖比西子，淡妝濃墨總相宜。看，環湖的還有林木蒼翠的吳山，鳳凰山，玉皇山等景區，山奇石秀，林泉幽美。沿湖還有麴院風荷，花巷公園，柳浪聞鶯等各具特色的圓林。遊客們，你們是不是現在已陶醉在這美景之中了呢?人們稱讚西湖道“天下西湖三十六，其中最好是杭州”這應該不爲過吧!
