Finally, the door has the function of weather forecasting. At seven o'clock in the morning, it will report on time and report the weather and thesituation of the day. If the weather forecast says it's going to rain, the doorwill offer an umbrella before its owner goes out, and if it's a big summer itwill also offer a sunblock and sunscreen. The invention guarantees home safety,improves living standards and makes people's lives more comfortable.

If I were an inventor, I wanted to invent a medicine that would delaypeople's life slightly. Because I know that it is impossible to live forever,and if you can live forever, there will be more and more people in the world. Aslight delay is the ability to make a person's life a little longer. Theinvention is mainly used for the immediate death of the hospital, but to thepeople who want to see the last of their loved ones. Or people who are in a caraccident or other sudden death. If I were an inventor, I would invent an emotional robot. Scientists sayrobots are mechanical, unemotional and can't understand what people really I'm going to invent this robot, which has its own personality, apart frombeing able to do the housework, the laundry, the cooking. Owners can chooserobots with different personalities.

There are gentle, considerate, or tyrants. The charm value of the robot canbe acquired by itself. At that time, the robot is more than just a machine, itcan be your family, your friends, more like your child. He's hungry and needsyou to feed him. When you are sad it will hug you, stand beside you and comfortyou and tell you jokes. When you're nervous, it encourages you and tells youit's ok. When you are happy, it will give you all kinds of celebrations,standing next to you and dancing, more than you are happy. But the baby robotalso dies, for example, when it dies of starvation, or parts that are too longand die. But you can rest assured that the life of the robot baby is usually ahundred years old, enough to accompany you forever.

If I am the inventor, I would also like to invent a lot of things tobenefit mankind, I'm not in order to let everyone thank me, let me earn a lot ofmoney, but in order to let people all over the world have a safe, happy, happy,carefree, so I am very satisfied. i am very excited and feel it's a great honor to stand here to deliver my speech. what i'm going to talk about is “choice in my life”

i can still remember the first time i failed in a singing contest. i immediately ran to my grandma, shedding lots of tears of course! i cried loudly and could hardly utter a word!

then, badly needed comforting words and touch came from grandma. i gradually regained my sense of pride and a sensible control of my feelings. yet, head down, i said: “grandma, i have no choice, and i have to give up, right?” “look at me, my dear!”she said gently. i looked up, straight into her eyes. what i saw was a shining, sweet, and loving stream from the bottom of her heart! then, there came the gentle voice of hers: “no, no, no…” her head shaking, while eyes smiling. “why don't you give more attention to the details?” she continued.

no other words were needed any more! i started practicing and rehearsing once again, paying special attention to those little things that i used to ignore. as a consequence, my overall performance was quickly elevated to a new high! without much trouble, in another singing contest held months later, i won!

what do i learn from this experience? never give up lightly! life's full of opportunities, and lots of them! to realize your dreams and fulfill your potential, you must learn to work hard and smart and steer your lifeboat wisely! as a li ling's sportswear commercial goes “everything is possible!” but not without sweat, devotion, and tears sometimes!

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.

in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.

so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

For lack of alertness,the students tend to leave the doors and windows wide open during sleep at noon or at nightin summer. For the same reason, they'll also leave their bikes unlocked before a store or by aroad, or forget to take away their personal stuff before they go out of the classroom to make aphone call. These acts undoubtedly have increased their exposure to the light-fingeredmonsters.

In order to minimize possible losses, the students must stay on guard in the first place, asawareness of the thefts around often makes a big difference. To be more specific, thestudents should not hide any tempting amount of cash in the dorm. Put it in the bank des, do not leave any valuable items unattended. Take them wherever you go. Inaddition, it's advisable to develop a neighbourhood watch programme with other students inthe dorm and neighbouring dorms.

Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.

In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.

It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?

Nevertheless, one cannot foresee the future. Accidents do happen. For example, a car may suddenly appear in front of you. At such times, if you did not have the steering wheel, how could you make a sudden turn? Just as no one could foresee the Sichuan Earthquake nor the Japan Tsunami. If the one being trapped under the debris did not have faith, he/she would not have survived until being rescued. If we did not have faith, we could not recover from our sadness and rebuild our home.

Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.

Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessary for us to live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. One must understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in another way, have you ever seen a car without a steering wheel on the road?
