China is faced with some enormous challenges as it enters the 21st century. In order to ensure the prosperity of our nation and its future generations we must confront and ultimately solve these challenges.
Some of the more pressing issues facing China are universal. These include environmental degradation, over population and the effects of globalization.
To overcome some of the things we need to implement include:
Enhancing our scientific and industrial technologies in such areas as IT, Bio- tech, AI and Cybernetics.
Further develop public infrastructure in under developed regions.
Promote education reform at all levels.
Introduce sustainable development initiatives.
The implementation of free trade agreement between China and ASEAN.
The benefit to China in introducing these initiatives will be significant and far-reaching. It is important to realize that these initiatives need to filter down through all elements of the society in China. For instance, cutting edge technologies and intellectual properties; the development of e-commerce based economy; an education system that encourages innovation and creativity; increased foreign investment; higher living standards; more efficient use of natural resources.
It is important for us to realize these reforms are both essential and necessary. These will help China to fulfill its vast and unrealized potential on the world stage. It will also contribute more to a globalized world of the new century.
As for the future our task is not to foresee but to enable.

My topic is Honesty
As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon's tooth. This is a true story.
65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure.
In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon's mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one's error.
Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Let's be honest people of good moral character.

迎來了中秋，對我而言真的是很幸運的事情，隨着長大，其實節日氣氛沒有小時候那麼濃厚，雖然每年都在過，只是總是回不到過去。但我也知道，傳統節日一定要延續下去，那是我們中華兒女共同傳承的，是一種文化，因而我們一定要去珍惜這樣的節日，不管時代如何發展，作爲大學生的我們，傳承傳統文化都是我們必須要去做的，是我們的責任。所以同學們，過好這一個節日的同時，也希望大家能夠一起把中秋繼續傳承下去，那是我們對傳統文化的一種留戀。那麼在這裏，就祝願大家中秋快樂，祝校領導、老師和同學們，過一個美好的節日，在中秋之日幸福圓滿，跟家人一起團圓，一起吃一餐團圓飯。

尊敬的各位領導、評委：
大家好!
我叫，現年35歲，自考大專文憑，助理會計師、助理統計師任職資格。95年7月畢業於浙江稅務學校，在夾浦糧管所從事財務工作五年，20xx年買斷工齡後，在平安保險馳騁、拼搏了兩年後，總覺與所學專業不對口，20xx年聯社招聘廣告讓我爲之動心，經過努力，我榮幸地成爲其中一員。從20xx年4月至20xx年12月我在夾浦支行從事綜合櫃員崗，20xx年元月調入城東支行，目前從事信貸員崗位。
也許說到這裏，大家會認爲：我工作經歷蒼白、平淡，緣何敢於競聘支行長職務?簡直是癡人說夢、異想天開!但我不這麼認爲，不是說“不想當將軍的士兵不是好士兵”嗎，我從事內外勤工作已七年半有餘，在現有的工作崗位自認爲輕車熟路、遊刃有餘，所以希望能選擇一個新崗位來鍛鍊自己，提高自我、挑戰自我，從而實現生命價值的最大化。當然，作爲信貸員的我，更多的是來體驗今天的競爭氛圍以及學習參加競聘的各位領導的管理理念和經營理念。
林城支行長，這個崗位讓我理解可以分解爲二個關注點。一是林城、二是支行長。林城鎮地處長興縣西南，由原三鄉一鎮(原天平鄉、畎橋鄉、太傅鄉和林城鎮)撤併而成。全鎮總面積128平方公里，轄20個行政村(581個承包組)，4個居委會，人口5.8萬。318國道必經，高速公路設口;長興港橫穿境內，使得林城交通優勢突顯。多年來形成了以非金屬礦業、電爐製造、新型紡織、農產品加工等四大產業爲主的特色工業經濟。同時林城鎮也是一個農業大鎮。全鎮擁有雙萬畝梅花基地、萬畝特種水產基地、千畝花卉苗木基地、2千萬羽家禽養殖基地等。這就決定了我們應該以四大產業爲重要目標客戶，以四大基地爲基本需求客戶，真正、全面着力做好林城支行的存貸業務經營。
支行長屬於基層管理者。作爲我個人見解更側重於是個帶隊人，而不是一個真正意義上的決策者。這個角色最主要的工作職責是兩點：一是對內理順員工關係、打造一支高凝聚力團隊。其中內容頗多，包括績效考覈公平公開、內外勤互幫互助、單獨溝通、獎罰機制等等一系列內容;二是鎖定、挖掘存款目標客戶、目標項目，多途徑、重效果地強化貸款風險管理手段，借用信息化手段進行及時利息催討入庫。
通過反覆自我評價，我認爲雖然我沒有從事過管理崗位，但已經基本具備擔任支行長崗位的相關條件，相對而言我也具有以下素質或者說條件。
一是具備紮實的財務知識，熟悉合作銀行內外勤業務，這有助於一個支行長在日常的管理工作中處理事情更加得心應手，也更好地協調內部關係、實行精細管理。
二是具備較強的人際交往能力、親和力。參加工作十多年來，我先後從事過企業財務、保險業務、銀行業務等工作。每到一處，我都能和周圍同志融洽相處、打成一片。每到一個崗位，客戶總會給我一個較好的評價，間接、直接地都能從客戶那裏聽到對我親和力地認可。這些，都有助於今後工作的順利開展。
三是有着較強的溝通協調能力、組織管理能力。在二年的保險營銷期間，由於年輕社會關係少，我總能和同事一起將陌生的客戶營銷成功，我從業務員做到擁有自己的團隊，進而晉升爲見習主任和兼職講師，其間我還參加過拓展訓練和PTT等各種培訓，從中我學到了不少團隊管理的經驗。在平時的日常工作中，我也能盡己所能協助領導出點子、協調相關工作。
四是具備強烈的責任心和吃苦耐勞的精神。從丁甲橋到夾浦，再到新塘、陸匯頭，每到一處我都盡責盡力地保證工作處於最佳狀態。大額支付系統初上線時，由於系統需要，我每天都比別人晚下班一個小時，這樣的狀況整整持續了一年。從事信貸員至今，我對於每筆貸款都做到現場走訪和外圍了解相結合，珍惜和重視每一筆資金，總希望將它利用到最需要的農民朋友手中。在走千村訪萬戶活動中，考慮新塘的貸款戶大都是春節在家，爲了抓住春節黃金走訪時間，不惜犧牲節假日，不怕風雪嚴寒，確保完成高額走訪率，確保做到筆筆貸款心中有數。在市七屆運動會的健美操排練中，我也邊上班邊排練，不辭勞累，體現出自己的吃苦耐勞的精神。
四是身體健康、勤於學習。身體健康是革命的本錢。工作之餘，我一直沒有放鬆自身素質的提高，從進聯社時的中專文憑，到通過自學考試獲得財會專業大專文憑，再到今天的電大財會本科即將畢業，我一貫。日常的業餘時間我還經常訂閱金融書籍，關注金融動態，經常收看經濟糾紛判例，以利於控制放貸風險。
綜上所述，我認爲自己已基本上具備了勝任支行長的條件，並且相信通過加倍努力，一定能夠勝任這一職位。正因爲相信自己，所以我來了，我說了，至於結果如何，對我不是最重要的。既然是競爭上崗，必定是多數陪榜，無論成功與否，我都會一如既往地努力工作。最後謝謝各位領導，各位評委給我一個展示自我的機會，謝謝大家!

大漠黃沙，駝鈴殘陽。
莫高窟，一個民族的驕傲，一個民族的悲哀。
讀過餘秋雨先生的《道士塔》後，我同樣“好恨”。面對一場無硝煙的戰爭，莫高窟本能地抵抗，卻無能爲力，只能任眼淚流下，埋藏在沙漠裏，成爲歷史的印跡。這凝聚了民族的悲愁的眼淚讓人記住了一段不平常的歷史。
在這晶瑩的淚珠中，我看到一個古老民族的傷口在滴血。
歲月雖以成爲舊跡，但歷史又重蹈覆轍。無數“莫高窟”在哭泣，淚串成的項鍊不堪負重的段裂。
不僅是莫高窟，許多的文化遺產都在眼淚中一點點被埋沒，消失在我們的面前。
我們是始作俑者，真正的罪人。
看那些金碧輝煌的古代建築，卻看見醜陋的字符歪歪扭扭地刻在硃紅的房牆上，看那些平仄押韻的詩句，卻已變成俗不可耐的“歪調”。
曾經看過一篇報道，韓國把端午節定爲本國的特定節，並申報聯合國。這讓人匪夷所思。本是中國的節日，憑什麼讓韓國人搶了先?於是乎，國內輿論日益高漲，罵着韓國剽竊別國東西，似乎矛頭一致的指向了韓國，確實顯得韓國這樣做太“厚臉皮”了。但轉念一想，你中國人有那個時間與精力和別人叫囂，何不坐下來靜靜想想爲什麼會發生這種事。在這個多元化的時代，各國間的文化交流也日益頻繁。要建立具有中國特色的社會主義，建立具有中國特色的文化是其中的一項內容，“取其精華，去其糟粕”，這是建立具有中國特色文化的原則，然而中國人似乎喜歡“拿來主義”，就像是當年吃了“閉關鎖國”的虧，現在要一口氣補回來，不管外國的東西是好是壞，總之“開放”是沒錯的。於是國內“節日市場”受國外“節日市場”的衝擊，忘了本，只記住了上帝的生日。
有人做過一個調查——關於端午節你瞭解多少。結果沒幾個人答得全。要問“情人節”“光棍節”“聖誕節”，一個個爭先搶後。要在古代，那準被誤認爲“假洋鬼子”。一談到外國節日，這廂的兩眼放光，形色興奮，不覺讓人好笑。你擺出一副討好的嘴臉是要幹嗎?義務宣傳外國文化?有情人沒情人的湊個熱鬧，不知道現在屈原在湖底涼不涼;2月14日街上熱鬧非凡，寧靜的湖面上卻沒有一點漣漪。
是啊，比起韓國人，我們應當羞愧，起碼人家還真當回事，又是上報又是慶祝，不亦樂乎。我倒還真沒聽說過養母甚生母這一說辭，不過在非物質文化保護方面，韓國確實比中國做的好。
再說一說“模仿秀”大國-----日本。這個“投機取巧”專靠“模仿”別人取勝的國家，曾對他的老師進犯，現在又不老實的將自己的“黑手”伸進老師的衣兜，拿走《西遊記》。經加工後，此《西遊記》非彼《西遊記》，成了《最遊記》《七龍珠》諸如此類的暢銷漫畫。老師生氣了，斥道：“你怎麼對中國文化進行無禮的惡搞?”學生支支吾吾地說：“只是人物名字相同而已，與內容無關。”且不說這是不是在對中國名着的“非禮”。但單從內容來說，日本的《最遊記》《七龍珠》等諸如此類貌似改編中國名着的漫畫，確實內容與《西遊記》天壤之別，毫無關聯，也確實只是一些叫八賊、悟空、唐三藏、悟靜的人物，這和張三、李四、趙錢、孫李一樣作爲一個代號。八賊，悟空又不是專利名，叫張偉的也遍地有。雖說改別人老祖宗的東西是有一些大不敬，但從改編內容上看也並不算壞，要不《最遊記》也不會在亞洲風靡好幾年。我想某些人總不至於無聊到看見別人改自己的東西獲得大成功後眼饞，心生報復吧!大家總歸是文明人。不過說心裏話，我寧可看這樣富有創意的作品，也不願意反反覆覆看一部只是由剪紙動畫，到平面動畫，到真人版，到3D動畫，內容上卻毫無變動的，單純在炫耀動畫技術發展的片子。
中國人總是情感戰勝理智，總喜歡推卸責任，尋找外因。往往內因是事物變化發展的根據，不能忽視內因的存在。自家的東西被拿走只會在家門口大聲嚷嚷，卻也不願意走動一步，更別說追上去要回來。自己的東西就算放在家裏，腐爛了，風化了，化成灰飄走，纔會有一點反應，不痛不癢的“悼念”後，該怎麼樣還怎麼樣。
我與餘秋雨先生產生了共鳴，或許真的被外國人拿去了好吧。起碼我們以後在某個國家還能看到這些可愛的文化遺產。我不願看到這些文化遺產在國人的冷漠中消失。
我們的生活越富裕，這種無奈與心酸就與日俱增。物質生活不與精神文明成正比，在現在人看來，老祖宗的東西不過是封建殘留物，是糟粕。崇洋媚外，不自主創新，不會弘揚民族化，遇到事情也只會吵吵嚷嚷，事情過後太陽還是從東邊升起，西邊落下。
莫高窟的損失，不是王道士的錯，是全中國人的錯;不是敦煌研究者的遺憾，是全中國人的遺憾;不是一個人的責任，是全中國人的責任。
同樣的，還有多少文物在流淚?
園明圓，樂山大佛，北京胡同……
泥人兒，剪紙，元宵燈……。
端午，清明，中秋……
難道最後的話語也將被“Hello”“Baby”所代替?
莫高窟有一個就行了，同時，莫高窟的悲劇有一次也就夠了。
莫高窟的眼淚在閃耀，冰冷地刺穿了我的心…。。
