植樹造林(Planting trees)課題： 植樹(Planting trees) 年級： 國中三年級第二學期第十八單元 目的： 1. 讓學生認識森林的用途；2. 瞭解植樹造林的意義，破壞森林的後果；3. 培養他們積極種樹，愛護樹木的意識；4. 培養學生分析、綜合及解決問題的能力。 工具： 中國地圖, 有關森林和實物的一些照片 The Great Green Wall is 7，000 kilometres long, and between 400 and 1,700 kilometres wide. The Great Green Wall will stop the wind from blowing the earth away. It will stop the sand from moving towards the rich famland in the south. It has already saved a lot of land. But more Great Green Walls are still needed, and not only in China. They must be built all over the s: For Activity 1, Students are asked to do in the following steps: 1. Make sure that the students understand the meaning of the activity, and give some words or expressions possibly mentioned in the acitivity. 2. Ask the Ss to list at least six reasons(simple words, expressions or sentences) why the trees are cut down. They should do this activity individually. 3. Each student asks the other three different students for their reasons. 4. If there are any different reasons and you agree, add these reasons to the picture. 5. If you dont agree these different reasons ,have a discussion with them. 6. Write a short passage with the list of the reasons to show why the trees are cut down. Activity 2 is a discussion activity. The students are asked to do this activity in a competitive way. Step 1: Divide the class into groups of four. Step 2: Discuss the topic. The teacher gives any necessary help (like some new vocabulary , or some pictures). Step 3: Each group reports their discussion to the class. Step 4: The group who get the most answers win the game.
