尊敬的上級領導：我是__鎮中心學校__X國小教師，__X，男，漢族，1955年5月7日出生，現年56歲，國中學歷，國小一級教師。我於1975年10月在__X任民辦教師，轉爲公辦教師分配在__X國小任教，截止20__年8月有35年教齡多。
在這三十多年來，我先後在__X任教三年。任一、二年級複試班的教學任務。到__X國小任教三十二年多，任複試班教學工作，完成掃盲工作任務，曾任過一至六年級的班主任工作，這三十五年多，每年都任班主任。在這三十五年多的從教生涯中，我始終以做一名優秀教師的標準嚴格要求自己，把工作放在首位，腳踏實地，勤勤懇懇，任勞任怨，認真履行一名教師應盡的職責。
三十五年多的風風雨雨，嘔心瀝血，孜孜不倦，把我自己的青春與熱血都奉獻給了山村的學生，獻給了偉大的教育事業。我教過的學生中也有在工作崗位上的，成了國家的棟樑之材。而如今，我也年過半百，兩眼昏花，兩鬢滄桑，回想自己走過的路，我無怨無悔，因爲我曾經爲之奉獻過，奮鬥過。教師工作是一個辛勤的職業，我選擇了辛勤，爲了這個辛勤，我奉獻了自己的一生，在我心中是無比榮耀。
三十餘年的山區教師工作經歷，也讓我患上教師的“職業病”，我現在兩眼視力下降，特別是早晚，戴着老花鏡都看不清課本的字，近年來眼睛天天困擾着我，多次就醫均無良策。反映能力有所下降，而作爲一名教師，除了備課，還要批閱大量的學生作業。耳朵聽力也嚴重，學生提問聽不清，這樣會影響教學工作，醫治無好轉，近兩三年來聽力成了教育教學工作的一大困難。再加上氣管炎等方面也不同程度地加重。在工作上，決心努力，已經感到力不從心。
因此，我特向上級領導提出申請於20__年8月退休，特請給予批准爲謝!
