第一、將員工的自我評估作爲公司績效考覈過程的一部分，是非常重要的。要鼓勵員工參與公司的績效考覈過程，並確保經理和員工之間開展有效的對話，可以在公司定期的績效考覈過程中也使用同樣的形式，或創建一個稍微修改後的版本。
第二、員工自我評估的目的，在於獲得員工對他們的表現的自我觀點。這是一個在整個績效考覈的過程中給予員工發言機會的強有力的方式。有時候，經理擔心自我評估的價值，認爲員工會簡單地給予自己讚美的評價和較高的等級以試圖擡高他們的實際評價等級。經驗表明，相反的趨勢卻是真實存在的，當我們評價自己的時候，我們往往會比別人更加嚴厲。
第三、經理獲得員工的個人觀點，對於公司獲取員工績效方面的更多的信息而言，自我評估是一種非常寶貴的方式。它還可以幫助經理隨時準備處理意見或觀點方面的差異，並深入瞭解員工的期望。
使員工的目標與公司的目標相一致
企業創建SMART(具體的、可衡量的、可實現的、相關的、有時限的)的目標的重要性，是將員工的目標與更高水平的組織目標聯繫起來，你就爲員工的工作創造了這一非常重要的"大環境".這可以幫助員工理解爲什麼他們的工作是重要的，以及他們的工作是如何有助於整個組織獲得成功的。
實踐證明，將員工的目標與更高層次的部門目標、分公司目標乃至整個企業的目標相聯繫，創造一個使個人目標與組織目標相一致的"大環境"，對於員工績效的發展是至關重要的，也讓員工感覺到自己的工作是很重要的。

x年以來，我熱衷於本職工作，嚴格要求自己，擺正工作位置，時刻保持“謙虛”、“謹慎”、“律己”的態度，在領導的關心栽培和同事們的幫助支持下，始終勤奮學習、積極進取，努力提高自我，始終勤奮工作，認真完成任務，履行好崗位職責，各方面表現優異，得到了領導和羣衆的肯定。現將一年來的學習、工作情況簡要總結如下：
一、嚴於律己，自覺加強黨性鍛鍊，政治思想覺悟得到提高。
一年來，始終堅持運用馬克思列寧主義的立場、觀點和方法論，堅持正確的世界觀、人生觀、價值觀，並用以指導自己的學習、工作和生活實踐。熱愛祖國、熱愛黨、熱愛社會主義，堅定共產主義信念，與黨組織保持高度一致。認真貫徹執行黨的路線、方針、政策，工作積極主動，勤奮努力，不畏艱難，盡職盡責，任勞任怨，在平凡的工作崗位上作出力所能及的貢獻。
一是認真學習“三個代表”重要思想，深刻領會其科學內涵，認真學習黨的xx大報告及xx屆三中、四中全會精神。尤其是在今年七月開始的第二批保持共產黨員先進性教育活動中，認真系統地學習了黨的基本知識和各種理論著作，進一步夯實了理論基礎，提高了黨性認識和思想道德素質。
二是認真學習業務知識，始終保持虛心好學的態度對待業務知識的學習。一年來，在指導老師潘鄉長的帶領下，走村入戶，參加村民代表會議、座談會等各種會議，到生產、建築實地考察，學習了許多農村工作方法，更是直接與羣衆直接接觸，真正做到深入到羣衆中去。平時，多看、多問、多想，主動向領導、向羣衆請教問題，機關學習會、各種工作會議都是我學習的好機會。此外，認真參加各類培訓，一年來參加了公務員初任培訓、禁毒尿檢培訓、電子政務培訓，均以優異的成績通過考覈，熟練掌握了業務技能。業務知識的學習使我在工作上迅速成長起來。
三、努力工作，認真完成工作任務。
一年來，我始終堅持嚴格要求自己，勤奮努力，時刻牢記全心全意爲人民服務的宗旨，努力作好本職工作。由於我鄉工作人員很少，尤其是原先負責黨政辦及綜治辦的一位同志調走後，我的工作任務更重，現在的工作主要有兩大塊，一是黨政辦工作，一是綜治辦工作，另外還兼職安全監督員、食品質量監督員、“千百”辦成員等職務。一年的工作盡職盡責、任勞任怨，努力做好服務工作，當好參謀助手：
(一)黨政辦工作。可以說辦公室工作是完全服務性質的工作，既要對外服務，也對內服務，工作中要做到“三勤”即嘴勤、手勤、腳勤：在接待羣衆來訪辦事時，都能主動詢問是否有需要辦理的事，遇到辦不了的證明材料時能耐心向其解釋清楚，或幫其聯繫駐村幹部、經辦人，幫其查看檔案資料等，使羣衆能儘快辦好手續，樹立好政府窗口的形象;在收文發文時，總是用最短的時間把文件送達到各辦公室，並及時把領導批閱文件收回歸檔或傳閱到其他辦公室，從來沒有遺漏掉一份文件;在收集整理資料時，全面、準確地瞭解各方面工作的開展情況，及時總結、彙總，向領導彙報或讓領導備查，如年度目標管理考覈資料準備等;在起草文稿時，能及時認真完成領導交付的任務，一年來完成各種報告70餘篇，包括XX年政府工作總結、XX年上半年政府工作總結、人代會報告等文稿。同時在組織會務、後勤管理、打字複印等工作上也盡職盡責，不留下任何紕漏。
(二)綜治辦工作。主要負責資料整理、報告材料起草、各類報表統計，同時還是公安員、禁毒專管員、安全監督員、綜治中心成員。綜治辦工作任務重、責任大、業務性強，準備的各種資料很多，如z在禁毒工作方面，今年上半年就起草各種報告20餘篇，還負責宣傳教育、查毒、禁種鏟毒、尿檢幫教等工作;又如簽訂責任書方面，年初綜治、禁毒
、反邪教、安全生產等7個方面需要起草責任書。今年上半年還負責整理了“四五”普法驗收材料，接受了綜治、安全生產、禁毒工作半年度考覈。另外在治安管理、抓賭幫教、糾紛調解等工作上也認真履行好職責，做好份內之事。
回顧一年來的工作，我在思想上、學習上、工作上都取得了很大的進步，成長了不少，但也清醒地認識到自己的不足之處：首先，在理論學習上遠不夠深入，尤其是將理論運用到實際工作中去的能力還比較欠缺;其次，在工作上，工作經驗尚淺，尤其是在辦公室呆的時間多，深入村裏的時間過少，造成調研不夠，情況瞭解不細，給工作帶來一定的影響，也不利於儘快成長;再次，在工作中主動向領導彙報、請示的多，相對來說，爲領導出主意、想辦法的時候少。
