New Years Day 元旦

1. Why do these people become so excited when the bell strikes?

2. Because the new year is in. We can start our new life again.

3. What are these friends giving each other?

4. They are giving each other presents.

爲什麼有如此多的人聽到鐘聲就那麼興奮呢?因爲新的一年來臨了。我們又開始了嶄新的生活，這些朋友在幹什麼?噢，他們愛互贈禮物呢。

Spring Festival春節

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. Everyone tries to be at home with their family. People have a big meal in the evening.

春節是中國最重要的節日，每人都有會設法與家人團聚並舉行盛大的晚宴

People in northern China always make dumplings. Each family cooks some delicious food. Nowadays many people like to have dinners in good restaurants.

北方人喜歡吃餃子。每個家庭都會做些美味佳餚。現在許多人也喜歡在春節這一天到環境優美的飯店去聚會。

What do you do on the eve of Spring Festival?

We usualy have a big dinner. All the family members stay together and enjoy the evening shows.

Do you go to Temples Festival in your hometown? Yes, I do. I like it very much.

除夕之夜你都做什麼呢?我們通常用過風聲的晚餐之後欣賞聯歡晚會。你們去廟會嗎?我非常喜歡。說道春節你知道自己的屬相如何用英語來表達嗎?

Whats your animal sign?

Mine is the year of rabbit.

Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig.

Childrens Day兒童節

On Childrens Day many children sing and dance. They visit the science museum. They go to the zoo to see the animals. They get presents from their parents.

兒童節這一天許多孩子會唱歌跳舞。他們參觀科技館，到動物園看動物，收到來自父母的禮物。

I think Children Day is your favourite festival.

Mid-Autumn Festival中秋節

What special food do people eat on this day?

People eat moon cakes. They look at the bright moon and tell stories about it.

人們在中秋節這一天會吃什麼特別的食物呢?當讓是吃月餅、賞月、講故事啦。

National Day國慶節

What do you usually do on National Day?

On National Day we give a big parade at Tiananmen Square. In the evening, we sing and dance and enjoy the fireworks.

你通常會在國慶節做什麼呢?我們國家會在天安門廣場舉行盛大的遊行儀式，到了晚上唱歌跳舞欣賞煙火

B: In England, it is warm and rains a lot in August. You need to take an umbrella when you go out.

A: In Australia, it’s winter in August, but it’s not very cold. So it’s the best time to go there. Of course, please remember to wear warm clothes.

B: In most areas of China, it is very hot, The sun shines brightly. You need to wear sunglasses, a T-shirt and shorts. Sometimes it rains suddenly, but later on , it may get fine again.
